From the reviews
I just felt the need to post my own review based on a recent negative review by Jax as she mentions me (another student though not by name) in it - I was not 15-20 minutes late to class nor did I skip a warm up.
I can’t say enough good things about Khalia’s Pole Studio - Co Create. Khalia is an amazing instructor! Her ability to explain each move with clarity and patience is truly remarkable. Even as a complete beginner, I felt confident under her guidance.
I love CoCreate!! I highly recommend both the series and drop-in classes provided. The instructors here provide so much guidance and thoughtful instruction. I especially love Khalia's classes. If you would like to be shocked at your own abilities and feel supported on your pole journey, CoCreate is the place to be.
I’ve never Pole dance in my life and let me tell you when I say I’m blessed for coming across Cocreate Pole Fit Studio!! Khalia is a phenomenal pole instructor. She is very patient and simplifies each move. You will walk out her class feeling accomplished. Her teaching technique is one of a kind. 💕💕💕
Your first pole class at CoCreate Pole Fitness
Nervous about your first pole class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects total beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. You don't need to be strong, flexible, or thin to start — pole builds all of that, and your first class is about learning to spin, walk the pole, and hold on, not inverting on day one. What to expect: a warm-up, some conditioning, and a few basic spins or a short combo — it's a real full-body workout, so expect to sweat and to feel it in your arms and core the next day. Rest whenever you need to; no one is watching or judging. What to wear: shorts and a tank or sports bra — bare skin on your arms, legs, and stomach is what grips the pole, so save the leggings for aerial or floorwork. Skip the lotion the day of class; it makes the pole slippery. Grip aids: most studios keep grip liquid (Dry Hands / iTac) on hand, and knee pads make floorwork comfy — ask at the front desk. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people leave their first class already planning the next one.
