From the reviews
My kids have taken classes at The Yoga Dance Co for almost a year now. It is a beautiful, family friendly, welcoming environment. The kids love aerial yoga and aerial dance. They have a blast every time.
The first time I have ever enjoyed exercise! I feel like my body gets the oil change it needs every day from all the different varieties of classes each day including aerial acrobatics, aerial yoga, aerial fitness, cardio barre and even private dance lessons my husband and I did for our first dance for our wedding…
The Yoga Dance Co is such an inviting environment and there’s a class for everyone. They have classes for children and adults, including silks and tumbling! Auburn is amazing. She is so sweet and kind and even offers an unlimited class pass for a weekly trial for first timers. I definitely recommend!
Came here for goat yoga a few weeks ago and had so much fun! The goats were so friendly and cute! I was very appreciative of the crew being so diligent with the cleaning :) Im excited to come back especially to try the aerial class!
Your first pole class at The Yoga Dance Co
Nervous about your first pole class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects total beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. You don't need to be strong, flexible, or thin to start — pole builds all of that, and your first class is about learning to spin, walk the pole, and hold on, not inverting on day one. What to expect: a warm-up, some conditioning, and a few basic spins or a short combo — it's a real full-body workout, so expect to sweat and to feel it in your arms and core the next day. Rest whenever you need to; no one is watching or judging. What to wear: shorts and a tank or sports bra — bare skin on your arms, legs, and stomach is what grips the pole, so save the leggings for aerial or floorwork. Skip the lotion the day of class; it makes the pole slippery. Grip aids: most studios keep grip liquid (Dry Hands / iTac) on hand, and knee pads make floorwork comfy — ask at the front desk. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people leave their first class already planning the next one.
