From the reviews
I love Pole Play classes! Honestly the hardest workout in the most fun environment. I amazed myself with what I was able to accomplish in this class, strength I never knew I had. Chelsea is an awesome instructor never once did I feel intimidated or inadequate she constantly encourages you to push yourself.
Chelsea is an amazing instructor. She is really encouraging to people of all levels and makes an effort to help promote a fun-first attitude in class. She works with students to help them achieve their individual goals and gain measurable progress.
I cannot say enough good things about Pole Play! I spent about 2 years taking both boot camp and lessons. I started when my son was 8 months old! First, there is no judgment, Chelsea (owner), helps everyone to find their sexy. It is a major self esteem booster!
I have been at the studio for a couple years now, and this is the most I have ever stayed at a fitness studio/classes ever. The community is amazing- completely open and judgement free. It’s a unique way to work out & you really do see progress in both confidence and strength.
Your first pole class at Pole, Barre and Fitness Studio
Nervous about your first pole class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects total beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. You don't need to be strong, flexible, or thin to start — pole builds all of that, and your first class is about learning to spin, walk the pole, and hold on, not inverting on day one. What to expect: a warm-up, some conditioning, and a few basic spins or a short combo — it's a real full-body workout, so expect to sweat and to feel it in your arms and core the next day. Rest whenever you need to; no one is watching or judging. What to wear: shorts and a tank or sports bra — bare skin on your arms, legs, and stomach is what grips the pole, so save the leggings for aerial or floorwork. Skip the lotion the day of class; it makes the pole slippery. Grip aids: most studios keep grip liquid (Dry Hands / iTac) on hand, and knee pads make floorwork comfy — ask at the front desk. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people leave their first class already planning the next one.
