The classes they teach
“If I was a complete beginner, I think I might have found it tricky to learn some things for the first time.”
What's on offer
“I wandered in during open pole play time on my first visit there, so I saw a few of the students doing some complicated tricks and exercises.”
“I tend to go extreme on things so when I wanted to start my pole journey and I saw their winter performance workshop, I signed up!”
What students say again and again
“To quote another reviewer, this studio has down to earth vibes that I think make it more approachable for someone coming here for the first time.”
“I’ve been to other studios before and this one just felt more like a community.”
“I’ve also gone to classes and everyone is super nice and not intimidating.”
From the reviews
I was flip-flopping between 4 and 5 stars, then I just decided to go for it. My friend mentioned this studio to me months ago, but it's only recently (with one of their promotions) that I finally decided to go via their unlimited month - and I'm so glad I did.
I tend to go extreme on things so when I wanted to start my pole journey and I saw their winter performance workshop, I signed up! Committed to weeks of practice with the same folks all winter then completed with the performance! I’ve been to other studios before and this one just felt more like a community.
Atomic Allure is a gem and safe place for women and humans of all backrounds and demographics. I have been apart of the community on and off for about 13 years, first working at the front desk and taking classes, and now taking classes for strength, community and just to be the sexy queen goddess I was made to be.
Taking pole and twerk is ,suprisingly, very thereaputic. I enjoy the group atmosphere. The instructors are all about improving your self esteem and body image. Only think I wish is that they had earlier class times and offered some classes more days out the week.
Your first pole class at Atomic Allure
Nervous about your first pole class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects total beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. You don't need to be strong, flexible, or thin to start — pole builds all of that, and your first class is about learning to spin, walk the pole, and hold on, not inverting on day one. What to expect: a warm-up, some conditioning, and a few basic spins or a short combo — it's a real full-body workout, so expect to sweat and to feel it in your arms and core the next day. Rest whenever you need to; no one is watching or judging. What to wear: shorts and a tank or sports bra — bare skin on your arms, legs, and stomach is what grips the pole, so save the leggings for aerial or floorwork. Skip the lotion the day of class; it makes the pole slippery. Grip aids: most studios keep grip liquid (Dry Hands / iTac) on hand, and knee pads make floorwork comfy — ask at the front desk. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people leave their first class already planning the next one.
