From the reviews
One of my favorite places in town, and two of the best people! Jessica’s flow arts class is a must if you’re a beginner like me. She will get you up to speed on the fundamentals and some fun tricks on different flow toys.
I love coming to take classes at this studio. The class environments are always warm and inclusive. I've taken Yoga with Jessica and I really enjoy the structure of the class. I've also been taking Hammock, Lyra and Roller skating with Nakiah and she's truly the best teacher!
Craft Motions is such an amazing place. I have taken multiple flow arts classes with Jessica and I always look forward to them. I love the vibe and how friendly the owners are. Jessica always tries to explain things in multiple different ways and I never feel stupid or discouraged in her classes.
Jessica is an incredible instructor, she is very patient and you can tell she has a passion for what she does. I have been taking flow classes here for the past few months and gained so much knowledge. Chris is usually at the front desk and always makes me feel welcomed. The studio is a great space and super clean.
Your first pole class at Craft Motions Aerial Studio
Nervous about your first pole class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects total beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. You don't need to be strong, flexible, or thin to start — pole builds all of that, and your first class is about learning to spin, walk the pole, and hold on, not inverting on day one. What to expect: a warm-up, some conditioning, and a few basic spins or a short combo — it's a real full-body workout, so expect to sweat and to feel it in your arms and core the next day. Rest whenever you need to; no one is watching or judging. What to wear: shorts and a tank or sports bra — bare skin on your arms, legs, and stomach is what grips the pole, so save the leggings for aerial or floorwork. Skip the lotion the day of class; it makes the pole slippery. Grip aids: most studios keep grip liquid (Dry Hands / iTac) on hand, and knee pads make floorwork comfy — ask at the front desk. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people leave their first class already planning the next one.
