From the reviews
Breathtaking studio space built from the ground up with the community in mind. Every little detail of this studio was put in place with input from dancers as well as teachers. The owner, Shannon, has thought of everything - from hair ties to filtered water - to create an environment that is comfortable.
I have been struggling to build a positive relationship with my body and sensuality, and wasn't sure what to expect going into the Intro class. I felt comfortable and supported in the space by Bree right away and felt empowered at what I was able to do!
This quickly became my favorite dance studio. I started out with Dulce's sunday school which i love and is so popular! Must check it out! Also loooooove Devyn's classes, her slinky feet are goals.. Rebecca Lush is also another of my favorites she's a powerful teacher and im so grateful to dance with these babes.
I love this studio! The owner and instructors are really kind and welcoming. The studio is also beautiful and gorgeous! The studio also offers a diverse type of classes that other studios don’t have. So that’s convenient and cool to have so I can try other types of dancing. Definitely would come back!
Your first pole class at Full Moon Pole & Dance Studio
Nervous about your first pole class? Almost everyone is — and a good studio expects total beginners to walk in the door. Here's what to know. You don't need to be strong, flexible, or thin to start — pole builds all of that, and your first class is about learning to spin, walk the pole, and hold on, not inverting on day one. What to expect: a warm-up, some conditioning, and a few basic spins or a short combo — it's a real full-body workout, so expect to sweat and to feel it in your arms and core the next day. Rest whenever you need to; no one is watching or judging. What to wear: shorts and a tank or sports bra — bare skin on your arms, legs, and stomach is what grips the pole, so save the leggings for aerial or floorwork. Skip the lotion the day of class; it makes the pole slippery. Grip aids: most studios keep grip liquid (Dry Hands / iTac) on hand, and knee pads make floorwork comfy — ask at the front desk. What to bring: water and a small towel. Arrive 10–15 minutes early to sign in and meet your instructor. It clicks fast — most people leave their first class already planning the next one.
